The following items can’t be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can’t accept returns for:
1. Custom or personalized orders;
2. Items on sale.

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. 

Conditions of refund
The money is only refunded after we receive the sold items back in our hands. Original shipping costs when the purchase was made is not returned (customer will receive only the value of the items).

In case of ‘Items not received’ we begin the search of the lost item by contacting post office and filling a search document. This search can take up to 2-3 months – before official statement from post office is not received – we do not refund money. Therefor we ask to our customers to be patient. If the item is truly lost You will receive a refund or if requested to – reshiped a new one.

We will only use your shipping and billing address, and contact information:

1. To communicate with you about your order;
2. To fulfill your order;
3. For legal reasons (like paying taxes, creating invoices).

Our produce is available to ship to any country.

To minimize the risk of damage to the product, we carefully pack each shipment in a cardboard box and a special bubble envelope made for shipping.

When you make a purchase, you must provide a receipt address. It may be different from the buyer’s payer’s address, so the product can be shipped as a gift with the address of the recipient of the gift.

Delivery times may vary from season to season, for example, when Christmas is approaching, delivery times will increase due to mail load. Unfortunately, we do not control and cannot guarantee 100% receive of the goods during these days. Make sure to plan your orders on time.

There is a risk that the packet sent at one of the delivery stages disappears. In such situations, the seller and the buyer jointly deal with the problem (contacted by post, customs, etc.), if the non-refundable loss is confirmed, the packet is reissued or the purchase amount is returned.

The buyer is responsible for customs clearance of the parcel sent, payment of taxes and other expenses related to the receipt of the parcel. The shipper is not responsible for the delayed days while the parcel is at customs.

Worldwide shipping

All shipping costs depend on the weight of the packet as well as the type of delivery.
Please do keep in mind that these shipping times act as an example, they are not guaranteed by us! We do not refund or take responsbilites if the item is not shipped in mentioned times. We guarantee to provide quality and ready to ship as quick as possible, but we do not control the lenght in days for how long the item will travel. These estimates are taken from post office website.
If the shipping takes longer than max estimated time, please contact as asap! We will make sure to contact post office and begin search of the lost item. The process of it is writen in ‘Return Policy’

‘LACIS original’ offers two ways of sending worldwide:
Standard delivery: Usually the shipment arrives within 7-30 business days, with shipping costs ranging from 7 euros to 22 euros.

Express delivery: Usually the shipment arrives within 7-14 business days, with shipping costs ranging from 24 euros to 34 euros.

Baltics:
Omniva: Usually the shipment arrives within 2-5 business days, with shipping costs ranging from 7 euros to 8 euros.

Latvia:
Omniva: Usually the shipment arrives in 2-5 business days, shipping costs from 3 euros to 4 euros.

In order to maintain the beauty of the leather for a long time, it is important to refresh it from time to time with natural creams (avoid the use of chemical leather creams) at least once, at best twice a year. Like human skin, Vegetable tanned leather also releases oil and becomes dry, which in the long run can lead to cracking of the leather. When lubricated with natural conditioners, the oil is returned. The most common natural conditioners are ingredients such as coconut or linseed oil, beeswax and other natural raw materials – dozens of variations.

Leather rupture and loss of natural oils can be caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight, frequent wetting of the leather and exposure to heat, such as drying with a hairdryer, soaking in hot water.

We are grateful for your purchase and support for our small brand ‘LACIS original’. We do not just create and sell leather products, but we care about what happens to our products long after they are sold.

We feel a huge responsibility for what we do, especially to show respect for the animal. We create a quality product that will last for many years, carefully investigating the best materials. There is a notion in the world that purchasing a quality leather product is like an investment in the future. We do our best to keep our products up to date.

Our warranty is a guarantee against defects in material and workmanship. This means that ‘LACIS original’ will carry out product repair work or change any part of the product that has been visibly worn out – broken. The natural leather we use can have small scars, folds, color flaws – these details give the leather a unique look and are not considered defects.

If you believe your product has a material or workmanship defect, please contact us by sending an email with a clearly visible photo of the defect. We will assess the situation and, if we believe it is our fault, we will repair the product for free. Of course, shipping costs to and from the ‘LACIS original’ workshop or any additional expenses – taxes, customs, etc. – are covered by the customer.

This warranty does not apply if the product is purchased or replaced by another owner. We may need your e-mail or product delivery address to confirm that the purchase has been made directly from us.

Given the nature of the fabric material and the fact that no fabric is eternal, the products that contain fabric are not included in the Lifetime Guarantee Program.

Your responsibility

We’re not asking for a lot, just a few simple things.

It is important to refresh the leather with natural creams from time to time (avoid the use of chemical leather creams) at least once, at best twice a year.

Please be good towards your leather product and they will serve you for a long time. It is not good if our products are burned or boiled in hot water. It is advisable not to leave them in the rain, not to drown in a puddle, not to take with you for a swim. And even more, it is not advisable to give dogs or cats to play with them at all.
